Certification Program
Private duty health care is growing rapidly due to our aging population and health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The post-acute industry has embraced home care in helping address a critical shortage of trained home care professionals. The Axxess Home Care Clinical Fundamental Certification will prepare individuals for a career in supervision and direct care of private attendant services (PAS)..., pediatric services and private pay services. Participants will understand how to effectively document in a wide variety of service line offerings using Axxess solutions to solidify their success in the home care industry. Nurses, therapists, and caregivers receive a firm foundational knowledge to perform and supervise direct care in the home.
Home Care Non-Medical Fundamentals Course
Prerequisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course.
The Axxess Home Care Non-Medical Fundamentals course will prepare CNAs, home health aides and homemaker aides for a fulfilling career as a ...direct care professional while providing valuable certification hours often required to maintain certification. Upon course completion staff will be able to document routine visits, incidents, complaints and first report of infections.
Home Care Medical Fundamentals Course
Prerequisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course.
The Axxess Home Care Medical Fundamentals course will prepare RNs and LPNs for a direct care career in home pediatrics, IV infusion, geriatrics, and ...PAS supervision services using Axxess solutions while earning valuable continuing education credits. Participants will understand how to document routine visits, as well as hourly care, medication administration records and treatment administration records using Axxess solutions and Axxess Mobile. Upon completion of this course staff will understand Axxess workflow, and by minimizing screen time maximize their time with clients.
Home Care Clinical Certification
Prerequisites: Home Care Non-Medical and Medical Fundamentals courses.
