The 21st Century Cures Act requires that states implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all Medicaid personal care services and home health services that require a provider to perform an in-home care visit. As part of this Act, visits must be electronically verified for the visit type, date, and location of services performed, the individual receiving the services, the caregiver or aide performing the services, and the time services begin and end.
Vital EVV capability is built into Axxess’ HIPAA-compliant software, enabling organizations to easily verify visits as mandated by law. Our EVV features help streamline operations and ensure compliance with easy-to-use tools built right into our platform and mobile apps.
Office staff is notified when a caregiver has a missed visit or late clock-in time so clients and caregivers can be contacted right away.
Streamline reimbursements by easily managing, correcting and resubmitting EVV data when EVV exceptions occur.
Electronically verify visits and complete documentation at the point of care even when offline.
Verify service delivery through electronic signature or voice recording to ensure compliance.
Various states have selected one or more Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) vendors that organizations must work with to submit EVV information. Axxess offers integrations with a variety of vendors, making it convenient for care organizations to maintain compliance.
