Axxess Holds Training Seminar to Support the Learning Needs of Agencies in California.

(May 1,2012, Ontario, CA) Axxess HealthCare Consult, Inc., for the third consecutive year, presented its acclaimed Administrator’s Seminar to attendees in Ontario, California, on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012. The event was held at the brand new Embassy Suites on Guasti Lane, near the Ontario Airport.

The Axxess Subject Matter Experts presented a cohesive program of educational materials. Axxess was awarded the prestigious seal of approval from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, enabling Axxess to present content that receives the ANCC certified seal of approval for the awarding of Continuing Education Units- (CEU’s) nationwide. As the attendees in Ontario can attest, the ANCC accredited Axxess educational presenters received excellent evaluations from all attendees.

“I very much enjoyed the Axxess Administrator’s Training Event”, exclaimed Becki Billdough, Administrator of Reliance Health Care in Salt Lake City, UT, who flew in to Ontario specifically for the event. Attendees came to the California event from as far away as Salt Lake City, Phoenix and Fresno, CA. Billdough’s agency has been an Axxess Agencycore user since early 2012, and is clearly very enthusiastic about the platform, and the training content of the seminar. “I have nothing but admiration for the Axxess presenters. The content was relevant, cohesive, well prepared and delivered”, she continued, “I will definitely attend the future events planned for the Western part of the US”.

The topics covered were up-to-date and well researched by the Axxess SME’s. Ms. Patricia Evans, R.N., a registered nurse with over 25 years home health quality assurance, administrative and patient care experience, led off the seminar with a presentation styled, “New Medicare and Insurance Rules for 2012 and beyond: Strategies for Compliance and Success”. Ms. Evans presentation covered the latest home health regulations emanating from the Center for Medicare Services (CMS) in Washington, DC, as well as the latest coverage provided by larger Health Management Organizations (HMO’s) and Managed Care insurers. Ms. Evans resides in the Houston area, and assists Axxess clients in Mock Surveys, Quality Assurance projects, and also provides onsite training and support for Axxess Agencycore clients and new subscribers all over Texas. Ms. Evans presentation then concluded and segued to a detailed technical review of home health issues regarding regulatory compliance styled, “The Top 10 Survey Violations and Tips to Deficiency-Free Surveys”. Joni Wilson, R.N., an Axxess consultant for over a year, presented the survey deficiencies/violations topic to a very interactive learning group in both McAllen and in Houston. Wilson is a 10 year experienced home health Director of Nursing, Administrator, trainer and patient care professional. Joni shared her personal experiences in stories that engaged the attending learners. Ms. Wilson also enlightening the learning groups with her presentation regarding how to “Document for Success. Quality Assurance and Risk Management Strategies” Wilson serves Axxess as an SME for clinical standards and patient care methodologies. She also assists Axxess clients with implementation of the Axxess Agencycore software.

Axxess founder and Managing Director John “Niyi” Olajide then shared valuable perspectives regarding, “How to Improve Your Agency’s Cash Flow: Diversify and enhance your Revenue Sources”. The assembled learners were quite participatory in Mr. Olajide’s session. An attendee rated his session as being “very practical, useful, and humorous”. Olajide’s session received very high marks from the agency administrators who were attendees.

To close the seminar educational sessions, C. Sam Smith, seasoned business executive and Business Development Advisor for Axxess, shared two general topics regarding your agency’s corporate culture and how to develop your agency’s for success. His seminars were styled: “The 7 Secrets of Highly Effective Home Health Agencies”, borrowing proven characteristics of learning organizations to illuminate home health agencies’ need for positive workplace cultures. His vignettes of specific home health agency challenges and success stories were especially insightful. Smith concluded the educational series for the day with a lighthearted marketing insights discussion called: “Relevant Ideas for Marketing your Home Health Agency” This exploration of humorous marketing stories and examples from real encounters were also received quite well by the participants.
