Axxess Technology Solutions, creators of Agencycore, the leading web-based home health care software, actively promotes and supports the involvement of Home Healthcare Agencies in legislative issues affecting the industry on a state-by-state basis. Axxess was actively in attendance on both the East and West Coasts of the Continent in sponsorship of advocacy based Legislative events in both California and Florida. Based in Texas, Axxess has a history of advocacy in its home state, as well.

Axxess provided sponsorship for the Legislative Day event for the Home Care Association of Florida on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Axxess also sponsored the pre-event dinner held on January 31^st, the Tuesday evening prior to the all day Wednesday event, held at the capitol. The pre-event dinner was especially informative and interesting. Attendees were able to obtain specific information regarding the key policy initiatives and pending bills being discussed by the state assembly in Tallahassee, as well as obtain valuable knowledge regarding Agencycore, the leading home health software platform in the USA. Several agencies at the event expressed interest in viewing the Agencycore platform at an opportune time. Axxess representatives joined the Legislative Day group at lunch in downtown Tallahassee, and were there in support and to hear their debriefings regarding the contacts that had been made during the morning’s contacts at the Capitol.

Axxess strongly supports the active involvement of its clients and their members of state home health associations in legislative events. HCAF members came to Tallahassee to advocate for what they believe is important, i.e. legislation that is favorable to the home health industry in Florida. “We are thankful to Axxess for all of the recent support and sponsorship of the Legislative Day event. Issues regarding home healthcare are at the forefront in Sacramento, CA as well. January in California was an active month for Axxess’ legislative issues support. Axxess sponsored two California Town Hall events, held in Berkeley on the 17^th and in Anaheim on the 19^th. CAHSAH (California Association for Health Services in the Home) leads the home care industry in the Golden State in advocating for home-health-industry-favorable-legislation and provided excellent advocacy based summaries for the attendees of both events.
