NewsDay Tuesday: CMS Proposes Home Health Physician Documentation Templates

Although the changes CMS made to the face-to-face encounter documentation requirement eliminated the physician narrative, home health providers are finding the new requirements to be too vague to understand what meets the requirement for ‘sufficient’ documentation to support a patient’s eligibility for home health services. CMS is now considering creating templates to help clarify what is needed in the note. Read more here
