NewsDay Tuesday: ivWatch Monitors IV Placement Sites for Leakage Outside Veins

A new device will help skilled nurses detect up to 4 cc leakage outside a patients vein in the forearm or hand. The device uses an infrared sensor to warn nurses to check the IV as soon as leakage is detected.  Read more about ivWatch here.
