U.S. health care spending is one the rise – marking the biggest jump in health care spending since the recession. Millions of Americans now heave health insurance, after losing their jobs and insurance after the economic downturn in 2008. Due to the Affordable Care Act exchanges, expanded state Medicaid programs and jobs created by employers, more people are covered.
