Home Health Clinical Fundamental Certification

The Axxess Home Health Clinical Certification course will prepare direct care staff for a career as a professional home health clinician and provide ...valuable continuing education credit. Participants will gain fundamental understanding on how to perform and document skilled visits, infection control reports, incident reports, create home health aide care plans, and create and update medication profiles as they become familiar with regulatory guidelines. Upon successful course completion, nurses, therapists, social workers, and home health aides will have the knowledge to perform certified routine visits using Axxess solutions.
Home Health Clinical Certification
Prerequisites: Axxess Home Health Clinical Fundamental Certification course.
The Axxess Home Health Clinical Certification course will prepare OASIS assessment staff for a career as a professional home health ...case manager or rehab supervisor while providing valuable continuing education. Participants will understand how to perform and document OASIS visits and create and update an evolving patient plan of care to meet patients’ short-term and long-term goals through interdisciplinary care coordination. They will also become knowledgeable about regulatory guidelines and gain understanding of compliance standards. Upon successful completion of this course RNs, PTs, OTs, and STs, will be prepared to case manage using appropriate frequencies, treatment modalities, and human resources to achieve positive patient outcomes with efficient cost-saving strategies.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course. The Axxess Financial Fundamentals course should be strongly considered as a complement to learning.

Participants will understand how to process referrals ensuring all regulatory guidelines are met, schedule visits while considering LUPA avoidance, and manage a wide variety of clinical and operational documents while utilizing the full capabilities of Axxess Home Health software. There are no prerequisites for this course.
Home Health Operational Certification
Prerequisites: Axxess Operational Fundamentals course. Axxess Financial and Clinical courses should be considered as a complement to learning.

Participants will understand how regulatory guidelines impact the revenue cycle for Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims and how to build payer sources for commercial insurance based on contract adjustments. They will also become knowledgeable about month-end close and predictive revenue projections using reports within the Axxess Home Health and DDE solutions.

Home Health Expert Certification
Prerequisites: Participants must have at least 2 years of experience working with Axxess solutions and a current advanced certification.
The Axxess Home Health Expert Certification course will prepare individuals for a career as an Axxess Informatic Clinical Specialist, Axxess ...Professional Consultant, Implementation Manager or Director, and onsite product manager. Participants will be given a test agency to build in the Axxess Home Health solution and will test and document multiple items that will demonstrate deep knowledge of the clinical, operational, and financial functionality of Axxess solutions. The test is timed for 8 hours.
