Patient and Family Portal View Documentation Permission


Axxess Home Health now grants authorized contacts permission to view and download task documentation in the Axxess Family Portal. This enhancement promotes ease of use for both patients and authorized contacts by enabling them to easily access completed documentation within the portal’s user-friendly interface.

View Documentation Permission


To give an authorized contact permission to view task documentation in the Axxess Family Portal, navigate to the Edit Patient tab in the patient’s profile. On the Contacts screen, select Grant Patient and Family Portal Access to give the contact access to the Axxess Family Portal. Select Grant Permission to View Documentation to give the contact permission to view task documentation in the Axxess Family Portal. Click Save and Exit to finish granting the permissions to the contact.

View Documentation in the Axxess Patient and Family Portal


Once Grant Permission to View Documentation is selected in the contact’s settings, the contact can log in to the Axxess Family Portal and navigate to the Care History tab to view and download documentation for completed visits.


Next to each completed visit, an icon to view ( ) a PDF of the document will appear.


The view, download and print documentation options are only available for completed visits. The Download and Print buttons will not display for visits that are in progress or have not yet started.
