Axxess Home Health now enables users to designate medications as PRN in each patient’s medication profile. This enhancement streamlines medication management by providing a clear view of which medications should be taken/administered on a PRN basis.

To designate a medication as PRN, navigate to the desired patient’s medication profile.

Patients tab ➜ Patient Charts ➜ Select a patient ➜ Quick Links ➜ Medication Profile

To add a new PRN medication, click Add Medication. To designate an existing medication as PRN, click Edit under Actions next to the desired medication. In the Add Medication or Edit Medication window, check the box next to PRN Medication to designate the medication as PRN.

Once a medication is designated as PRN, a PRN pill will appear next to the medication in the patient’s medication profile.
