Organizations with an active Axxess RCM subscription now receive claim error detection and alerts during the claim verification process in the Axxess Home Health Billing Center. This enhancement streamlines billing processes by identifying and notifying users of potential errors before claims are submitted, reducing the likelihood of claim rejections and facilitating timely reimbursement.
When verifying a claim in the Billing Center, the system will use the Axxess RCM rules engine to detect errors in the claim. If an error is detected, the system will alert the user at the top of the screen.
When no errors are detected, a green success message will appear in the top-right corner of the screen.
Claims with errors will appear with a red caution symbol in the Billing Center. Hover over the caution symbol to view the detected errors.
When claims in the Billing Center are exported to Excel, the detected errors will appear in the new Validation Errors column of the Excel spreadsheet.
