Axxess Home Care now limits tasks during the authorization process to the payer’s billable tasks. This enhancement prevents users from selecting tasks that are not associated with payer bill rates.

Fee-based authorization is automatically enabled in Axxess Home Care when fee-based scheduling is enabled in Company Setup.

When adding or editing an authorization, only tasks that have bill rates entered will display in the Authorized Tasks drop-down menu.

If the payer has This payment source will use the bill rates in the client’s profile checked, then only tasks for client bill rates entered in the client’s profile will appear in the Authorized Tasks drop-down menu.

When the user is editing an authorization and the authorization has an authorized task without a bill rate, the task will have an indicator labeling the task as authorized without a bill rate entry.
