Powered by Axxess intelligence™, Axxess Palliative Care provides PECOS eligibility checks for providers. Users are alerted of a provider’s PECOS eligibility status when they are added as a new provider to Axxess Palliative Care and if any updates are made to the provider’s status. This enhancement streamlines operations and facilitates compliance by alerting users of changes to a provider’s PECOS status, enabling organizations to adhere to regulation updates.
To add a new provider, navigate to the plus menu (
) and select Provider.

Alternatively, users can navigate to the three-line menu (
), select Providers from the Lists drop-down menu and click the Add Provider button.

A PECOS eligibility check will occur when a provider is initially entered into Axxess Palliative Care. Once the required information is entered, the system will display green validation messages indicating that the provider is PECOS-verified.
If the provider is not PECOS-verified the system will display a red pill.
The provider’s PECOS status will be checked and updated if their status ever changes.
