UPIN on HCFA-1500 Claim Forms

Axxess Palliative Care now enables users to set up payers that require a unique provider identification number (UPIN) on HCFA-1500 claims and add UPINs to rendering providers through the provider list. This enhancement streamlines claim operations and facilitates compliance by enabling users to meet payers’ requirements to include rendering providers’ UPINs on applicable claims.

To configure and add UPINs to rendering providers, users must have permission to view, add and edit insurance/payers, providers and claims in Axxess Palliative Care.
