Axxess Palliative Care now provides an Immunizations section in each patient’s chart where users can document and monitor patients’ immunizations. By enabling users to document and monitor patients’ immunizations, this enhancement provides ease of use and streamlines operations.
To add an immunization in a patient’s chart, users must have permission to view and edit patient charts in Axxess Palliative Care.
To give a user permission to view and edit patient charts, edit the user’s profile and navigate to the Permissions tab. In the Clinical section, select View and Edit next to the Patient Chart permission. Click Save to finish granting the permissions to the user.

To add an immunization in a patient’s chart, navigate to the patient’s chart and select Edit Profile. On the Health History tab, navigate to the Immunizations section.
Patients tab ➜ Patient Charts ➜ Edit Profile ➜ Health History tab ➜ Immunizations
Select Add Vaccine Record to add a vaccine.
Complete the fields and click Save or Save and Add Another.
Select Add Declined Vaccine Record to add a vaccine that the patient has declined.
Complete the fields and click Save or Save and Add Another.
Select Download to download the Record of Vaccine Administration.
Select No Known Immunizations if the patient doesn’t have any immunizations.
Complete the fields and click Save .
Once no known immunizations has been added, No Known Immunizations and the date will display on the table.
