Axxess RCM uses Axxess intelligence™ to display payers’ plan codes. A plan code is a unique code used to identify a specific insurance plan for a payer that has many insurance plans. Plan codes are configured in Axxess Home Health, Axxess Home Care, Axxess Hospice, or Axxess Palliative Care, then transmitted to Axxess RCM.

To view a payer’s plan code in Axxess RCM, navigate to the Claims tab and click on the desired claim to open it. Select the Payers and Subscribers tab to navigate to that section of the claim. Click the edit icon under Actions next to the desired payer to view the Plan Code field.

Plan codes cannot be added or modified in Axxess RCM. To remove the plan code from the claim, click Clear.
