Axxess is transitioning the payment processing system for Axxess Care from Braintree to Stripe. This change will take effect on December 1, 2023, and is aimed at providing a more efficient, secure and user-friendly payment experience.

Why is Axxess transitioning to Stripe?

Stripe is known for its robust features, user-friendly interface and high security standards. This transition aligns with our goal of offering the best service and payment experience to our users.

Will there be any interruptions in payment processing during the transition?

No, we do not anticipate any interruptions in payment processing during the transition. Axxess will alert you to any action items that may arise.

Are there any actions I need to take before the transition?

No, you do not need to take any actions prior to the transition.

Do I need to update my payment information after the transition?

No, you will not be required to update your payment information after the transition.

How will the transition affect my scheduled payments?

The transition will not impact the timing or amount of your payments; however, your credit card or bank statements will display the new vendor, Stripe, instead of BT for Braintree.

Will there be any changes in the way I receive payments?

No, the process of receiving payments will remain the same; however, your credit card or bank statements will display the new vendor, Stripe, instead of BT for Braintree.

Will the transition affect the security of my transactions?

No, Stripe complies with the highest industry standards for security. Your payment information will remain confidential and protected.

Will there be any additional fees associated with the new payment processing system?

Yes, a 5% transaction fee will now be deducted from each visit’s payment.
