The new electronic ID badge for essential personnel enables clinicians to demonstrate essential designation and bypass shelter-in-place restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Clinicians can access and present the badge to facilities and authorities to verify authorized entry into locations where patients are located throughout the pandemic.
On the Axxess CARE mobile app, the existing ID badge now designates clinicians as Essential Personnel, and is no longer restricted to the patient’s location. Clinicians can access the badge on the scheduled visit date from any location.
This functionality facilitates compliance with requirements resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, and optimizes patient outcomes by enabling caregivers to provide care and fulfill patient needs throughout the duration of the pandemic.
