Axxess Hospice now enables users to mark physician orders as No Signature Required. When a physician order is marked as No Signature Required, the order will not be tracked for a return signature from the physician.

Since orders for palliative care are created by a physician or nurse practitioner, they do not need to be tracked for return signatures. This feature enables users to create and send palliative care orders without tracking for signatures.

Orders marked as No Signature Required can still be sent to the physician’s office for documentation purposes and will still go through the normal QA process and flow to the To Be Sent screen once approved in the QA Center.

To mark a physician order as No Signature Required, check the box next to No Signature Required in the order. Once the order is sent, the order status will be updated to Order Received.
