Axxess Hospice now enables users to create a custom list of non-admit reasons for documenting why a patient was not admitted for services. By enabling organizations to create their own custom list of non-admit reasons, this functionality streamlines documentation processes and provides optimal ease of use.
Users must have permission to manage reasons on the Non-Admit Reasons list in Axxess Hospice.
To give a user permission to manage reasons on the Non-Admit Reasons list, navigate to the People Center and select Edit to edit the user’s profile. On the Permissions tab, navigate to the Administration section and select View, Add, Edit and Delete next to the Non-Admit Reasons permission. Click Save to finish granting the permissions to the user.

At the top of the list, users can toggle between the Default and Custom views and search for non-admit reasons using the search bar.
The Default view displays each non-admit reason, the date it was created and the date it was last modified.
The Custom view displays a Providers filter so users can filter by provider, an Actions column so users can edit and delete non-admit reasons, and an Add Non-Admit Reason button so users can add new non-admit reasons to the list.
