Axxess Hospice users can now select days as the base of measurement. This enhancement streamlines operations and ensures accuracy by enabling users to submit claims with the correct measurement code for service lines.
To update the service unit, navigate to the three-line menu ( 
) in the top-right corner of the screen and select Insurances/Payers. Navigate to a payer and click Edit under the Actions column.
On the Billing Information tab, select Room and Board Payer and Payer Requires Service Units in Days under Room and Board Settings.
On the Fee Schedule tab, users can select Days or Units from the Basis of Measurement drop-down menu.
Once the required information has been selected and entered, select Save Level of Care Rate.
